Monica has built her career around genuine connections, joyful experiences, and images that feel natural, personal, and timeless. She works alongside her husband and creative partner, photographer Jack Hartzman. Together, their work has taken them across the United States and around the globe, documenting meaningful moments and one-of-a-kind celebrations while Monica brings her distinctive vision and leadership to every event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proud of her Peruvian heritage and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Monica connects effortlessly with clients, families, and creative teams from many cultures and backgrounds. Her ability to understand people, anticipate meaningful moments, and make everyone feel comfortable allows each celebration to be captured with authenticity, emotion, and style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia region, Monica brings her global perspective and decades of expertise to celebrations throughout the DMV and beyond.
