I met Daniel back in 2020, in the middle of Covid, through the BNI Power Partners networking group, and when he was ready to pop the question, he trusted that same network to help him capture it right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting the Scene<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He picked Rockwood Manor Park in Potomac, Maryland for the moment \u2014 quiet paths, mature trees, and exactly the kind of natural light I look for when a couple wants photos that feel real instead of staged. Jack and I got there early to walk the grounds and figure out where the light and the privacy overlapped best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Moment Itself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candlelight, white roses, and Alicia completely surprised. Daniel got down on one knee, and I don&#8217;t think there was a dry eye among the family members who&#8217;d quietly gathered to watch. Jack and I worked the moment from two angles at once \u2014 his face, her reaction, the reveal, the hug \u2014 so the couple would have the whole story, not just one side of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why We Shoot Proposals in Twos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A proposal happens once, on one afternoon, with zero retakes. Having two photographers there isn&#8217;t overkill \u2014 it&#8217;s how you make sure nothing that mattered gets missed.
